Ferrari 575 Superamerica F1
A truly unique version of the ultra desireable 575M Superamerica, finished in Pearlescent White over Rosso. VAT Qualifying.
Released in 2002 to replace the 550 Maranello, the 575 featured significant mechanical updates including; aerodynamic refinements, improved brakes, modified weight distribution, a more powerful engine and a revolutionary system which allowed the gearbox to control the suspension in order to prevent pitch changes during gear changes.
The Superamerica debuted in 2005 as the convertible offering of the 575 from Ferrari. It featured an electrochromic roof panel, which rotated 180 degrees to lie flush with the boot. The Superamerica also utilised the higher output version of the V12, rated at 533hp, which was capable of achieving 199mph. This phenomenal level of performance led to Ferrari marketing it as the fastest convertible in the world.
A total of 559 Superamericas were built; adhering to Enzo Ferrari's philosophy that there should always be one less car on the market than the market desired.
The example we have is in unbelievable condition, with under 11,000 miles from new. The paint is an extracampionario option, meaning that there are few, if any, other Ferrari's in the world that benefit from this colour.
