Original EU Spec Daytona Plexi, finished in Blu Dino Metallizzato with Crema. Complete with Ferrari Classiche and under 4,000KM since rebuild.
The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 or Daytona remains one of the most iconic cars ever to come from Maranello; at one time the fastest production car produced and one of the most competent Grand Tourers ever to wear the prancing horse.
The 365 GTB/4 was revealed at the 1968 Paris Salon, and was instantly different to the 275 series of V12s that preceded it. The Daytona became an icon of both speed and style; that curvaceous body combined with the 4.4-litre Colombo V12 pushing out around 350bhp and a top speed of 174 mph.
Even with the success and demand for the Daytona, it remained an exclusive model; only around 1,300 examples were produced, reserved for the most important of clients in late 60s and early 70s.
This example is an original EU car that was delivered new to Italy, by the official dealer M. Gastone Crepaldi S.A.S in Milan in June 1970. The car sits in fantastic condition on the exterior, interior and of course mechanically, with just under 4,000KM showing since rebuild.
Currently finished in Blu Dino with Crema, this car is a plexi-glass example; extremely desirable due to their rarity. On top of the fantastic condition, this Daytona comes with a fantastic history file, including a Massini report and will also be delivered complete with Ferrari Classiche certification from the factory.
The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 or Daytona remains to this day one of the most famous cars to leave the gates of Maranello. Not only are these 70s GT cars fantastic to drive, but recent values have rocketed and are only set to continue, making this Plexi car both the perfect car to drive to the South of France or become part of the finest of collections.
