Specification

The Porsche Carrera GT is one of the sharpest and most exciting road cars not only to come from Stuttgart, but ever produced. This can be attributed to its motorsport heritage; the engine enjoys technology from both the world of endurance racing and F1 and remains to this day one of the most impressive units placed in a street car.

It was the Cayenne project that put to bed any motorsport career for the Carrera GT, instead the finished prototype that was revealed at the Paris Auto Salon in 2000 was completely in street trim, and one of the most exhilerating supercars was born.

the 5.7-litre V10 is not only one of the best sounding ever to be fitted in a Porsche, but is also capable of more than 600 bhp and 0-60 time well below the 4 second mark. On top of such power, the CGT's carbon-fibre chassis and sub-frames when combined with the carbon ceramic discs and racing clutch created not only an extremely focused, but also light package.

To this day, the drive of the Carrera GT is one of the most involving and challenging of any supercar, mainly due to the 6 speed manual gearbox and instant throttle response, mated to that stunning naturally aspirated power unit. Many have likened the experience to a modern-day Ferrari F40, and the comparison is one of great substance.

The car we are fortunate to offer is one of the very finest available, finished in the rare colour combination of Guards Red over Black. It is believe that there are only 100 CGTs in this colour; the majority being painted in GT Silver.

In addition, this vehicle has covered less than 375 miles from new, not being registered until 2008. Further, as opposed to many other delivery mileage examples, number 1018 is fitted with the new N-Rated Michelin Super Sport tyres and has enjoy regular maintenance, all at Porsche Centre Reading:

03/04/2007 - 63 miles

30/04/2008 - 78 miles

29/06/2011 - 323 miles

10/10/2013 - 349 miles

22/10/2014 - 367 miles

Not only one of the best looking Carrera GTs around, this example is clearly one of the best kept and this shows in the stunning condition all round. One of the most sought after cars of the last 12 months, the Porsche Carrera GT will forever be regarded as one of the sharpest and most exciting supercars ever made, with values set to continue to rise in the coming months and years.
