VAT Qualifying. White Ferrari F40 with LM style exterior and a number of performance upgrades. With only 23,000km on the clock, this is a truly unique example of an icon.
The Ferrari F40 was the last vehicle commissioned by Enzo Ferrari himself, and has fittingly been regarded as one of the brand's finest. A 470 horsepower twin-turbo 2.9 litre V8, 5-speed open-gate manual gearbox and a completely unassisted driving experience led to the F40 gaining the tag of "ultimate driver's car," with legendary-status following suit.
This vehicle boasts a number of exterior styling and performance upgrades, making it a one-off version of an iconic prancing horse. Mechanically, there is a custom straight and unsilenced titanium exhaust, Roberta suspension with top mounted air cups (allowing for 3cm worth of lift), 3-way adjustable dampers, Enkei sports wheels, Brembo 8 pot calipers with 2 piece floating and slotted discs and closed-off NACA ducts.
The exterior styling changes all have aerodynamic or performance benefits, most notably the larger central intake on the bonnet, a larger front lip spoiler, a larger rear diffuser and the "LM" adjustable rear wing.
However these modifications only serve to enhance the existing brilliance of this 80s supercar; the bare carbon fibre interior, minimalist dash, open-gate gearbox and twin-turbo V8 all left completely standard. As opposed to transforming what is already one of the greatest cars of all time, this example has a unique identity and presence on the road - a truly one-off and special vehicle.
