Mercedes G55 AMG
2008 LHD G55 AMG with just over 7,500 miles. Finished in Designo Pearlescent White with Ivory leather.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was initially designed as a military car in the late 1970s before being offered as a more refined civilian vehicle in the early 80s. This conversion to a popular audience and rising stock saw the creation of the G55 AMG, placing a supercharged V8 under the bonnet of this automotive icon. No longer concerned with assisting troops in battle, after the AMG treatment, the G-Wagon was now focused with on-road performance in a retro-stylish body.
The vehicle is a face-lift example and is finished in its original designo pearlescent white with Ivory leather; possibly the strongest colour combination for the car and showing magnificent condition all round. Now superseded by the G63 and G65 AMG, the G55 will forever be the first AMG G-Wagon, not only a brilliant everyday car but also one with a real investment future.
